Coming back after time away — for a family, a health scare, a career break nobody quite knows how to ask about — has its own particular weight. There's already enough to prove without your wardrobe adding to the list.

I didn't want clothes that announced a comeback. I wanted clothes that let me walk in and simply continue, as if the thread had never been cut.
