Returning Stronger

Coming back after time away — for a family, a health scare, a career break nobody quite knows how to ask about — has its own particular weight. There's already enough to prove without your wardrobe adding to the list.
I didn't want clothes that announced a comeback. I wanted clothes that let me walk in and simply continue, as if the thread had never been cut. Something considered enough that I didn't have to think about it, so I could spend that energy on the work itself, on remembering who I am in a room again.
There's a quiet confidence in not overexplaining yourself, and what you wear can either support that or undermine it. I chose pieces that felt like they already knew where I was headed — structured enough for the seriousness of the moment, comfortable enough that I could stop noticing them by 10am.
Returning stronger isn't about announcing anything. It's about showing up and letting the work do the talking — which is exactly the kind of workwear Annissaa is built around.
